At 3:10 pm, 13-year-old Gregory Witman returned home from school. Seven minutes later, his 15-year-old brother Zachary dialed 911 to report finding Gregory brutally murdered in their laundry room. What followed was five years of appeals, scant evidence, and botched trials that eventually resulted in Zachary being sentenced to life in prison without parole. The boys’ parents, Ron and Sue Witman, are two of the many people who still believe in Zachary’s innocence. This documentary will follow their tireless efforts to exonerate their son, as well as investigate all of the missing pieces in order to find out: what happened in those seven minutes?
